        Cory Tynan has written films for most of the studios and several television networks. His first script, Nightland, was acquired by Paramount in a bidding war with Disney. Cory then followed that up with the spec sale, Ghost hunter (Cinema Line Films), and Beast of Burden (Warner Bros).
 
His award winning movie, Play’d: A Hip Hop Story won the prestigious New York Indie Film Festival and was nominated for a NAMIC Vision Award. Also a television staff writer, Cory headed the "writers’ room" for the long-running Gene Roddenberry TV series Earth: Final Conflict and worked on David E. Kelley's The Practice. In 2010, Cory wrote and produced the acclaimed pilot “Everyday Life,” which was nominated for a Movie guide Epiphany Award.

Proposal of we do
The IHFA Film Program will enroll 500 STUDENTS, each student focusing on an individual discipline or “core of study” within the film academy. Although this is a year program (except for animation), students may enroll in an additional year to focus on a new core of study.
 
 
INTERACTIVE PRODUCTION CONCEPT
All students will interact with the other students as if each project were a real production. For example, a Producer will choose a script from a Screenwriter and then enlist a Director. The Director and Producer will give the screenwriter notes on his script, then the Producer will execute the production, using a crew from the directing and/or writing classes, using actors from the acting program. (Participation is mandatory).
 
After the script is shot, the director and producer will work with students in the editing program to cut their films and do post production. In addition, animators will be enlisted to storyboard the director's final project. This program is specifically designed to give students a “real life”production experience.
